West Bloomfield High School is located in West Bloomfield, Michigan. This great city was named one of America's "Best Smallest Cities" in 2006. Our school has won state and national academic awards.

The award winning WBHS Choral program currently consists of a SSA Chorale, two SATB  Concert Choirs, and  a SSAATTBB Show and a cappella jazz choir, Laker Express. 

WBHS Music Department Mission

We believe that within every child there is a consciousness, which desires to express itself through music.  Musical expression has appeared in every society and every culture. It is imperative that music be encouraged in a caring and nurturing environment. Involvement in music provides a means through which individuals may express emotion, communicate ideas and explore humanity. Music education must be for all students and at all levels of their musical education. The West Bloomfield High School Choral Department’s curriculum provides the framework for students to develop musically through a sequential and spiraling curriculum.
